WHAT IS CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the most well known of about 100 different phytochemicals found in the cannabis plant, known as phytocannabinoids. It is non-psychoactive, meaning it will not get you high. CBD is similar to a compound that our bodies produce naturally called endocannabinoids. Not only are cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, they’re also naturally occurring in nature in broccoli, kale, etc.
WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF CBD?
Hemp has been used for medical purposes since 2700 B.C because of the way it interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Doctors have trusted cannabinoids - CBD being one of over 100 different ones - for thousands of years to deliver long-lasting relief from many ailments, including acute pain*, inflammation*, arthritis*, and neuropathy*. CBD continues to be studied and tested by scientists, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals as a natural solution to common ailments such as the ones mentioned above.
CAN CBD HELP MY PET?

WHAT ARE TERPENES?
Terpenes are organic compounds found in all of earth’s flora, better known as aroma and taste molecules (for example, they make a lemon smell like a lemon). They’ve already been used medicinally for centuries, and in recent years, researchers believe that terpenes are equally as therapeutic as CBD. Using “full spectrum” extract provides the entourage effect, and research shows combining the two can have very therapeutic results.
